BUDGETING, PROGRAMMING AND MANAGEMENT OF PROJECTS
SALAZAR
FERRO INGENIEROS S.A. developed PRECISION,
the only integrated budgeting, programming, and project
management system on the market. PRECISION
boasts a resourceful system for unit analysis which
makes possible a flexible handling of the creation
and structuring of the budget for each project. The
programming system transforms budget items into programming
activities; calculates the critical route; and presents
the information in LPU and
GANTT formats. The integration of budgeting
and programming information provides the data-base
for the management system and makes possible the collection
of information regarding cash flow, inputs, and labor
requirements. This information, which is impossible
to obtain with other systems on the market, is of
great value for technical and administrative decision-making.
