EF-ELAST- A FINITE ELEMENTS
PROGRAM FOR ELASTIC ANALYSIS
EF-ELAST
is an elastic analysis program based on the finite
elements method. It uses three-dimensional elements
with 6 faces and 32 nodes, which permits a cubic variation
in the translations within each element. It also uses
the frontal method for the solution of equations, in
order to be able to solve problems involving a large
number of elements on a personal computer.
EF-ELAST
may be used to solve complex structural problems, as
well as those related to ground-structure interaction,
excavations, screens, etc.
EF-ELAST has been used in the design of structural
elements and in the analysis of either complex structures
or those which present serious stress and deformation
problems.
